The Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter, 699 Centennial, has started the Albert Angel Fund to pay for emergency surgery and veterinary care for animals at the shelter. Look for the red and tan doghouses provided by the Butte Sheltered Workshop to be used as donation boxes. The shelter regularly has to take care of sick or injured animals picked up by animal control or dropped off at the shelter. Volunteers are always needed as well. Go to their website for more info.
